  3. You are best off buying whichever one you want. Used cars are actually better, since most improvements have already been made and the price is right. I cannot think of an engine that won’t last for 200,000 miles, at least, these days. It all depends on the owner’s ability to do proper maintenance. Before you buy either car, have it examined at a frame shop or tire store. Suspension work is sometimes the most costly. I would favor the Mustang since you will get better fuel mileage, although the Liberty is more utilitarian. How about a nice used Toyota Rav4???? These are maybe the best of both worlds. GOOD LUCK!!

Our do-it-yourself tip of the century is this: Do not attempt a difficult repair alone. This most likely will cost you mo money in the end. Thank you again.
